The New Ford Racing Aluminum Radiator!
July 19, 2009 - The Mustang gives me a hint that the cooling system isn't what it should be...
The small OEM Modine radiator that served me since June of 2000 was ready to retire, as was the stock Ford fan clutch.
With the old radiator out it was time to clean up the dirt and powder left over from the body shop.......
Even after the old radiator, shroud and fan were off I was still nervous about doing this install myself......
The new Ford Racing Aluminum Radiator looked awesome. Big thanks to Bill at CJ Pony Parts for finding it for me.
The new Ford Racing Aluminum Radiator slipped right in after I transferred the clips for the shroud from the old radiator. As per the directions, two pegs had to be sawed off and a slot for the shroud had to be elongated. Asking for a Dremel tool for Christmas was a good idea.
The old worn stock fan clutch on the left and the new P.P.I. "Police Service" heavy duty fan clutch on the right.  If this doesn't work out then it's electric fan time.
I opted to paint the top of the radiator with gloss black heat paint for that 'show car' look...
Finally a respectable radiator and serious fan clutch were in my car. The install went great and so far the car runs around 160-180 degrees.

Thanks for great advice:
